Arrakis ARC-WAVE-5 Complete Balanced Console & Automation Package
A Complete Balanced Console And Automation Package With Bluetooth The Arrakis ARC-WAVE-5 bundles the ARC-10BP-Blue broadcast console together with New~Wave automation software, giving a station a full 10 channel setup with balanced wiring, built-in USB audio, and Bluetooth calling all working together with dedicated automation software right out of the box. The ARC-10BP-Blue handles the physical side of the studio with balanced mic, line, USB, and Bluetooth inputs, while New~Wave manages the scheduling, playback, and voice tracking that keeps a station running even during unattended hours. Because the console already includes balanced RJ45 wiring, a built-in USB sound card, and Bluetooth connectivity, this bundle gives a station modern wireless calling and RF-resistant wiring in the same package as its automation software, rather than needing to add those capabilities separately down the line. This is a strong fit for stations that want the input capacity and RF resistance of a 10 channel balanced board along with the convenience of Bluetooth calling, all matched to dependable automation from the start. The ARC-10BP-Blue Console Built For Balanced Wiring And Wireless Calling The ARC-10BP-Blue is a 10 channel console using balanced RJ-45 connectors throughout, making it well suited to studios operating in high RF environments or pulling in feeds that originate elsewhere in a facility. Two high-performance balanced mic channels support a host and guest configuration, channels three through eight are balanced stereo line level inputs, and channel nine functions as a PC computer sound card channel for direct play and record. Channel ten includes Bluetooth compatibility, letting any Bluetooth enabled device pair to the console for calls or wireless audio streaming, in addition to standard phone hybrid support with balanced in and out connections and full logic control. Two stereo output buses, Program and Audition, include mono mixdowns and are available in both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA formats, with six 10 foot RJ45 cables included standard for the balanced line inputs. This combination of balanced wiring and Bluetooth calling gives the console a wide range of use cases without needing an external accessory to add wireless functionality. New~Wave Automation For Scheduling And Unattended Playback New~Wave is built around a customizable automation schedule that plays music, spots, and other programming automatically while a studio is unattended, letting a station sound live around the clock without needing staff physically present at all hours. Its category based music scheduler organizes songs into groups and pulls from those categories automatically as the schedule plays, with a refined shuffle that prevents the same artist or title from repeating back to back. Cart rotations handle commercial scheduling, while start and kill dates let promotional or seasonal content play only during the correct window before stopping automatically. The software is highly fault tolerant and specifically designed to prevent dead air, moving on to the next scheduled event automatically if a file happens to be missing. Because a Bluetooth-paired phone can bring live calls into the mix at any point, staff can blend live wireless content with scheduled automation without interrupting the broadcast to manually switch modes. Voice Tracking And Live Assist Tools Built For Everyday Use New~Wave includes a built-in Hot Keys player that gives quick access to custom pages of audio files, useful for sound effects, liners, or short clips a host needs to trigger instantly during a live segment. Voice tracking lets a host record commentary ahead of time for the overnight or unattended hours, so the station still sounds live even when no one is actually in the studio during that shift. New~Wave Tools, included with the software, is where most background tasks happen, including building schedules, generating reports, voice tracking, and managing the audio library. With the ARC-10BP-Blue's Bluetooth channel available alongside the automation schedule, a station can weave live caller segments and wireless streaming into an otherwise automated broadcast day without needing separate equipment to manage that transition. Compatible With Existing Software And Ready For Internet Streaming New~Wave works with major third party traffic and music scheduling software, along with outside audio production tools, so a station isn't forced to abandon systems it may already rely on for other parts of its workflow. The software also includes a built-in encoder for internet streaming, sending audio along with title and artist metadata to a station's streaming service of choice, which matters for stations running online alongside or instead of traditional broadcast. Audio files can also be imported from nearly any external source, including FTP transfers, network shares, or files recorded elsewhere, with the software automatically detecting and importing completed files for playback. This flexibility means the ARC-WAVE-5 bundle can expand alongside whatever other broadcast technology a station is already using or plans to add later. Support And Setup Included To Get A Station On The Air Quickly Every New~Wave purchase includes hours of video tutorials available around the clock, along with manuals and training material to help staff learn the system at their own pace. A free 30 minute computer configuration session is included, where Arrakis staff remotely connects to help set up the software correctly from the start. Combined with the ARC-10BP-Blue's balanced wiring, included cabling, and built-in Bluetooth functionality, this bundle is built to get a station from unboxing to a clean, wireless-capable, on-air setup with as little friction as possible.
