Arrakis ARC-WAVE-6-M2 15 Channel Station Package
A Complete 15 Channel Station Package With Music Included The Arrakis ARC-WAVE-6-M2 bundles the ARC-15BP broadcast console, New~Wave automation software, and three complete music libraries into a single package, giving a station a large-format 15 channel setup along with the scheduling software and content needed to run a full broadcast day right away. Quality and connectivity have always been core to the ARC series, which was among the first console lines to introduce PC and Mac connectivity through a built-in USB audio channel, and among the first to standardize on RJ-45 connections for balanced wiring. Rather than sourcing a console, automation software, and a music catalog separately, this bundle brings the hardware, the software running it, and a real song library together in one purchase. The ARC-15BP provides fifteen configurable input channels, while New~Wave manages scheduling, playback, and voice tracking so the station can run unattended when needed, and the included libraries mean a station doesn't have to build a catalog from scratch before it can put together a real weekly schedule. The ARC-15BP Console Built To Flex Between Mic And Line Inputs The ARC-15BP is a 15 channel analog console using balanced RJ45 connections throughout, with channel one dedicated to microphone input and channels two through five configurable internally as either additional mic channels or stereo line level inputs. This flexibility lets a station run as a lean two-mic setup or expand to a five-mic panel discussion without needing different hardware. Channels six through thirteen are balanced stereo line level inputs suited for CD players, network feeds, and other studio sources, with optional 48 volt phantom power available for mic channels running condenser microphones. Channel fourteen includes a built-in USB sound card for direct PC or Mac play and record, which is exactly what allows New~Wave to use the console's own audio hardware rather than a computer's onboard sound card. Channel fifteen can be configured as a Bluetooth-enabled phone channel or used as a standard telephone channel with an external hybrid, and importantly, an external phone hybrid can still be connected to channel fifteen at the same time the Bluetooth functionality is active, giving a station both options simultaneously rather than forcing a choice between them. Taking Calls On The Audition Bus For Screening And Recording One of the more practical workflow features on the ARC-15BP is the ability to take calls directly on the audition bus, letting staff screen a caller, record the call for later playback, or send it live to the program output, all with a single click of a button. This gives an operator control over exactly when and how a caller reaches the air, rather than needing a separate device or process to manage screening. Combined with the console's ten to fifteen channel flexibility, this call handling workflow makes the ARC-15BP well suited to talk formats, request shows, or any programming that regularly incorporates live callers alongside music and produced content. New~Wave Automation For Scheduling And Unattended Playback New~Wave is built around a customizable automation schedule that plays music, spots, and other programming automatically while a studio is unattended, letting a station sound live around the clock without needing staff physically present at all hours. Its category based music scheduler organizes songs into groups and pulls from those categories automatically as the schedule plays, with a refined shuffle that prevents the same artist or title from repeating back to back. Cart rotations handle commercial scheduling, while start and kill dates let promotional or seasonal content play only during the correct window before stopping automatically. The software is highly fault tolerant and specifically designed to prevent dead air, moving on to the next scheduled event automatically if a file happens to be missing. With fifteen input channels feeding into this scheduling engine, a station has considerably more flexibility to route different sources into a single, dependable automated broadcast day. Three Complete Music Libraries Ready To Load And Play This bundle includes three of Arrakis's Masters Music Libraries, professionally remastered song collections built specifically for broadcast automation use rather than generic consumer audio files. Every track has been recorded as a 256kbps MP3 for solid audio quality, with silence trimmed from the front and back of each file and audio levels normalized for consistent playback across an entire schedule. Files are named according to Arrakis's automation naming format, so New~Wave recognizes and organizes them correctly without any manual renaming or reformatting needed. Intro to voice and segue end-of-message times are already set on every file, allowing a host to talk over an intro or overlap songs cleanly without manually timing each transition. With libraries available across genres and decades, a station can select libraries matching its intended format and have real programming loaded and ready to schedule almost immediately. Support And Setup Included To Get On The Air Quickly Every New~Wave purchase includes hours of video tutorials available around the clock, along with manuals and training material to help staff learn the system at their own pace. A free 30 minute computer configuration session is included, where Arrakis staff remotely connects to help set up the software correctly from the start. Combined with the ARC-15BP's flexible channel configuration, call screening tools, and the ready-to-use music libraries, this bundle is built to move a larger station or growing production operation from unboxing to a fully running broadcast schedule with minimal delay.
